Funds raised through the golf tournament go to Homefields' infrastructure. Success is becoming ever more apparent with the vocational program supporting more and more trainee farmers and shareholders each year. Plus six adults continue to live happily and safely in their homes at Homefields. Many people have made this tournament possible and backed Homefields' Fall Classic in every way possible through corporate sponsorship, personal time and expense, and professional connections since the first tournament was held in 1997.
Homefields has grown from a "dream" of a farm/home for adults with mental retardation to an award-winning nonprofit corporation. The same adults who moved into our homes 15 years ago continue to live in a safe, family-like setting. The cooperative vocational farm program at Homefields farm is growing, not just food for the community, but job training options for those who face barriers to employment.
For more than a dozen years, you have golfed to help make Homefields missions possible. Please join us again this year at Crossgates Golf Club as we create a new path for others who are seeking a new home or field.
The official registration statement and financial information of Homefields may be obtained from the Pennsylvania Department of State by calling toll free, within Pennsylvania, 1-800-732-0999. Registration does not imply endorsement.
