What we’re looking for in a Farmhand

  • A passion for the purpose: supporting people with disabilities, community engagement, and social justice.

  • High School Diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of one season of experience with farm work/greenhouse/landscaping, familiarity with hand tools preferred.

  • Good communication and customer service skills.

Your Day

  • Assist the farm manager to maintain accurate records of farm operations, including crop yields, tracking to comply with organic certification requirements and financial expenditures.

  • Support partnerships with local organizations and schools to promote vocational training, educational workshops, farm tours and volunteers

  • Support the distribution of food donations to local charities and community organizations is completed and tracked per food safety guidelines.

  • Follow safety practices and best practices for sustainable farming.

Seasonal from August 10–November 10
Week 1 – Monday and Wednesday;  Week 2 – Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

  • In-person with minimal remote work.

  • $14.00 / hour.
