Foraging for Wildflowers and Wild Edibles

Walk the Farm with Kevin Faccenda every 4th Saturday of the month beginning in June. Learn to recognize and gather historic plants used as food and our wildflowers. Each month different plants will be introduced. The class will teach core concepts of wild plant identification through hands-on demonstration along with using materials such as field guides and plant keys. The local and in-season wild plants which are most useful and tasteful edibles will be the focus of the talk.

Kevin Faccenda is a student of botany at Millersville University. He is focusing on learning the plants of Southeast PA and has been studying plant identification for 8 years.
