We are so excited to open our gates for the 2026 season at Homefields! We have several upcoming dates where we would love your help to get our crops started and the soil ready for a beautiful year of growth.

What We’ll Be Doing Together

There is a job for everyone, regardless of your experience or comfort level. Whether you enjoy the quiet focus of the greenhouse or the physical satisfaction of working the earth, we have a place for you:

• Nurturing new life by seeding plants in the greenhouse.

• Transplanting and direct seeding out in our open fields.

• Preparing the beds for their new residents through weeding, tilling, and raking.

Keeping You Comfortable

Please come prepared for a bit of sun or a light sprinkle. We recommend:

• Sturdy shoes (boots are recommended for muddy or uneven ground)

• A hat and sunglasses for those bright mornings.

• A rain jacket, just in case we get a gentle spring shower.

We’ve got the rest covered: We will provide gloves, sunscreen, and bug spray to keep you protected while you work.

A Note on Weather: We love planting in light rain! However, if heavy storms are in the forecast, we will reach out to cancel or reschedule to keep everyone safe and dry.
